Welcome

Lankeys Creek Wines is a small boutique winery that was initially established on the banks of Lankeys Creek in southern New South Wales. Our objective was to make small parcels of wine using grapes selected mainly from vineyards in the Tumbarumba wine region. We soon outgrew the original facilities and in 2005 moved to larger facilities at the Upper Murray Estate, Walwa Victoria.

Our winemaker is Steve Thompson, a graduate of the Charles Sturt University. He together with other members of the Thompson family started Lankeys Creek Wines in 2000. Since setting up the winery Steve’s wines have won medals at the Australian Small Winemakers Show, NSW Small Winemakers Show and the Wagga Wagga Wine Show.

Today our aim is to make wines that capture the qualities of the premium fruit grown both within the Tumbarumba wine region and surrounding areas. Our range includes Riesling, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and blends of these varieties.
